NCSY Partners with Kosher Food Pantry to Light Up Seniors
Sunday before Chanukah, teens from the Cleveland chapter of Central East NCSY joined with Kosher Food Pantry to deliver food, menorahs and good cheer to the seniors living both at Drury Court and Lancashire Avenues.

During the past week, representatives of Food Pantry and other local teens visited 4 additional senior buildings, sharing the Chanukah spirit.
As part of their annual Chidon Chanukah, Fuchs Mizrachi 4th graders visited Kosher Food Pantry to help pack food and Chanukah candle packages for distribution.
Mrs. Alevsky introduced these activities by speaking to the groups about the importance of tzedokah and the essential role they play in helping others.

Gross Schechter students at a recent visit. Each group learns about Kosher Food Pantry’s vital work in our community, becoming aware of those that have less. Hopefully, as adults, they will lead lives of Tzedokah and Chesed.
